Who we are
Cryptogramophone.com is a small team of tech nerds who want to make future technologies more accessible by educating and raising awareness about new ways to do things. We met in college at a campus concert. That is when our joint love for tech and music bonded us for life. A group of business majors is always on the lookout for the next concert, jam session, or listening party.
We always kept up to date on the latest advances in tech. Beta testing new apps, websites, and tech-based products were our main pass time. That and jamming out to our favorite tunes. During those years we were burning CDs and pirating music off the internet. We don’t recommend the latter.
Many years and many concerts later we all are excited about a new opportunity in the tech world that involves music. How can someone capture the nostalgic feeling of discovering an artist no one has heard of before? And then finding a little community of people who are as obsessed with that artist’s music as you are. Surely, that feeling would be a thing of the past as the world got more digital.
Blockchain, crypto, and NFTs are creating that sense of community we used to love when discovering new music. We all want to find that diamond in the rough. There are added benefits of this new kind of music consumption for both the fan and the creator of the music. This new technology offers a new way toward a better music industry. A new way to discover, buy, listen to, and sell music. Our vision
We would like to live in a world that is accepting of the changes new technology brings. Sometimes a new technology can seem so foreign to us that we just keep doing things the old way out of fear. This is normal, but it halts progress. We want to take the strangeness of new technology away and get people to focus on the possibilities. With music entering the blockchain scene, the possibilities are endless.
We also envision a music industry that has evolved to fit the needs of modern society. Across many artistic mediums, the artist enjoys full control. They make the final touches and decide how their work is to be consumed by the public. The music industry has long turned its back on this concept. We want to help restore that control to music artists.
How we plan to help
One of the hardest things to do in business is to change consumer behavior. People like to do things the way they have always done them. But eventually, the change does come. Sooner or later we all have to adapt.
We believe that by giving people simple, easy-to-digest education about new technologies, we can put them at ease about the future. No one has to feel left behind by technology. Our plans for the future
As these new technologies become more mainstream, more people will be interested in how they can get involved. We plan to be here to provide helpful information about digital music. In the early stages of cryptocurrencies and NFTs, scams victimized a few people. We always want to be here to help protect people from shady practices.
In the distant future, we hope to be a real player in the music NFT and the crypto world by launching our own marketplace for buying music NFTs. People will be able to use our site as a one-stop shop for education, news, and tips about blockchain in the music industry. As musicians and fans become more familiar with how to use these new platforms and marketplaces, Cryptogramophone will be a place where people can launch successful careers and build close communities.
Simply put, we are hoping for a music industry that looks nothing like it does today. We believe the future is crypto and blockchain transactions that let people decide who to support. True freedom from corporate greed and more options for individual success.
